With two of us having just relocated to Keynsham (between Bristol and Bath), we’re looking to find activities and events we can get involved in. That would be a mix of hands on activity where we can see a tangible result at the end of a few hours work and also, events where we can hand out copies of the Grassroots Alternatives paper. We’ve found a few events which we’ve listed below, all of which are within ten minutes walk of where we now live:) It’s early days and we’ll be attending and participating without any preconceptions and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Keynsham Community Veg Plot in the Park

Here are two forthcoming events at the plot which is located next to the cafe in the Keynsham Memorial Park.

DIG IN

As always EVERYONE is welcome, we bring the tools if you could bring some gloves.

Children are very much welcome but a grown-up must stay with them for the duration of the session.

10th annivesrary

The plot has been going for ten years and this event will be marking that as well as reaching out to the community and welcoming new volunteers.
